The set of lakes that make up this tourist attraction are fed by the melting of the immense Ausangate snow-capped mountain, the highest in Cusco (whose summit reaches 6,384 meters above sea level). The locals decided to take advantage of the natural beauty of the place to create a circuit of 7 lakes which are: Pucacocha Lake, Patacocha Lake, Alqacocha Lake, Qomercocha Lake, Otorongo Orco Lake, China Otorongo Lake, and the blue Cocha Lake. The circuit of the 7 lakes is located approximately 100 kilometers by road from the city of Cusco. It belongs to the province of Quispicanchis, in the municipality of Pacchanta. The town is located at 4,200 meters above sea level. At the summit rises the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, which supplies water to the lakes.

lima - paracas
The designation of "the city of the kings" for Lima is due to the celebration of the Three Kings, which had recently taken place. Following the defeat of the Incas, Lima became the capital of the Viceroyalty of Peru, from where the Spanish ruled over the Peruvian territory. The Spanish conquistadors also extended their dominion over most of South America.
