Nazca Lines
FULL DAY
NAZCA LINES CHARACTERICTICS
The Nazca Lines are a set of lines etched into the earth of the Nazca Desert, of large dimensions ranging between 50 and 300 meters, and they depict very curious figures. In 1994, they were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
According to archaeological studies, the ancient geoglyphs were drawn to express gratitude to the gods for the most valuable resource in the desert: water. The Nazca people had managed to utilize groundwater to benefit their agricultural activity and expressed thanks to the gods for not leaving them without rain.

lima - paracas
